  My review is about pets at home groom room Cambridge,i have taken my bichon frese for tidy up & nails clipped.I have noticed a big change after the old staff left and encountered very poor customer service by groom room salon manager named Olivia.She on one occasion said that my dog needed to be de matted due to clumpped bit of hair Just on his head. My dog at the Time had just been groomed 2 wks ago but we wanted the fur to be a bit shorter as the weather got warmer.We took her professional advice and thought she will Just cut the clumped hair on head,and tidy up the rest.When we collected the dog,to our Horror he was completely shaved hardly looked like a dog.the pink skin was exposed and we had to bring him back as she forgot to clip all his nails. On second incident with the salon manager I experienced the rude manner as I walked in She and some New staff were working on dogs.Olivia the manager left the dog,and reluctantly came over to me and without greeting asked me questions about flea and warming treatment,after filling in the form she came out from behind the counter. Without any communication she started to feel the dog quite roughly and was making my pet agitated.She said to me the same thing, that the dogs hair is matted on his legs and it will have to be trimmed right down to his skin.It seemed to Me that she could not be bothered.I then explained to her that it's wet when we comb it it comes out if it's matted the comb will not go through.She replied that they don't have time to sit there and comb it.I said to her I will think about it and left the shop.I had to go through different channels to get her name and position as she clearly refused to give me any information.As a manager a leader she is unfit for this position she is unprofessional and leading new staff into bad practice.I have now put a formal complaint about work ethics.Put my complaint couples weeks ago to the main customers services office and still didn't get any answers
