  I visited the store in the Grand Arcade to gain some advice on which bicycle would be best suited for my mums wants and needs. We met a chap who was unbelievably helpful. It was refreshing to visit somewhere like this and not to have a pushy salesman but instead, have someone that generally cares about their customers requirements. Thank you kindly! We will most definitely be going back and spreading the word to friends and family.

  I've recently brought my bike in for major repairs on the chainring/cassette/derailleur etc. I paid more than £250 for parts and labour, including a complete strip down and deep clean. When I collected the bike, it was indeed repaired and clean, but sadly all the gears were pretty messed up and I had to bring it in again after one day. Although the team looked at it again and fixed the major problems, the gearing is not quite as smooth as it was before. I also noticed today that the brakes are scraping. While the team at Rutland is a lovely bunch and I appreciate having a courtesy bike while leaving mine in the shop, I kind of expected my bike to be absolutely perfect after bringing it in and paying that much. That wasn't the case, and I will need to get it checked again, because I want nothing less than perfect (after all, it was perfect before I had to get it repaired). But maybe I'm expecting to much...? Update: Rutland Cycling offered to fix my bike for free. I brought it in and it was just a question of a 5-minute fix. Very happy that they did! I had initially considered not using them again, but now that they so kindly replied to the issue, I certainly will trust them with my bike again :)
